The Delaware BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir came into being on August 27, 2006.
Pujya Kothari Swami performed the murti pratishtha ceremony (idol installation) at the new temple.
Idols at the Delaware Swaminarayan Mandir include Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Aksharbrahm Gunatitanand Swami, Shri Radha-Krishna Dev, Guru Parampara, Shri Sita-Ram and Hanumanji and Shri Shiv-Parvati and Ganeshji.
